Objective: To study the micro structure of interfacial region Cu/Zn diffusion couple at 250◦C and its evolution with time. Methods: The was prepared by a bonding technique then annealed 250 ◦C in Argon atmosphere. resulting from reactions studied scanning electron microscopy energy dispersive X-ray. Findings: Two continuous inter metallic phase layers formed interface between Cu Zn metals. were e g phases Cu-Zn system. layer grew much faster than layer. growth kinetics parabolic constant kp =(1;90;02)10
